The Impact and Introduction of e-Assessment in Schools

Objective
To give a formal introduction to the use of technology to support assessment and learning and in particular the impact on Schools, learners, and administrators. This seminar is NOT a sales pitch, it’s goal is to inform you about a significant new and growing use of the technology to measure skills, knowledge and understanding in both formal qualifications and in classroom/formative assessment.
Format
A series of presentations covering
- What is e-Assessment
- How it supports learning in the class room
- Good practice, experience and case studies
- The implications for teachers and managers
- Impact on learning and assessment (formative and summative)
The seminar element lasted 90 minutes.
Package
For £85 plus VAT – Wednesday 18th March 2009 (buffet lunch included)
At 11am attend the seminar and receive background information on e-Assessment and the use of technology to support learning in the classroom - additionally:
- at 9.30 attend the Institute of Educational Assessors e-Assessment Forum to hear leading national authorities on e-Assessment answer your questions on strategic issues in the delivery of e-Assessment,
- all morning Attendees able to visit the exhibition (at the same venue) of leading suppliers in the area of e-Assessment.
Attendance
Space on the seminar will be restricted to Assessment Advisors at LA’s and ICT Coordinators from Schools.
